Third Millennium Productions (TMP) is looking for bright, motivated individuals to help develop, market and support the next generation of our engineering tools:

TMP Vision/SLIM
– Used by major aerospace corporations for finite element analysis visualization and load case management.

Datascape – A novel data mining and modeling technology, applicable to a broad range of analysis, modeling and prediction domains. Datascape models are also ideally suited for embedded systems.

Qualifications for both positions include:

  • US Citizenship
  • Top notch communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++
  • Fluency with OpenGL
  • Visualization expertise
  • A passion for problem solving
  • Ability to conduct independent research
  • Experience developing software tools for engineering applications
  • Customer support experience

TMP has opportunities in two product areas:
TMP Vision/SLIM
Desired Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Masters preferred)
  • Finite element analysis (FEA) experience with NASTRAN and/or ABAQUS
  • Unix/Linux and Windows experience
  • GUI design and development experience
Job Duties:
We are looking for an individual who will work as part of a team to execute the TMP Vision/SLIM development plan, using C++ and the Fox Toolkit. Other duties will include providing customer support, developing end user documentation and participating in web-based training system development and maintenance.


Datascape
Desired Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent (Masters preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual C++ and MFC
  • Strong experience in developing mathematical models
  • Excellent knowledge of statistics
  • Background in neural networks, fuzzy logic, optimization
  • Embedded system programming experience
  • Experience extracting data from commercial database systems
  • Experience developing distributed processing applications
  • Experience in Prognostic Health Management (PHM) would be a plus
  • A background in writing proposals to government entities such as DARPA

Job Duties:
We are seeking an engineer to work as part of a team to develop new capabilities for Datascape and its derivatives. Additional responsibilities will include evaluating customer feedback, contributing to the long term development plan, updating documentation and creating customized training materials. The candidate will also be involved in the development of case studies and other marketing materials. There will also be an opportunity to conduct research in modeling and system integration for aerospace related contracts.
